This just in... well, some of it came in a day or so ago, but here's your news!

This just in... (really!)

Steve Harvey Goes Big Time!
And we're not talking about his televisions show. The comic/actor/radio personality has signed a deal with Clear Channel/Inner City/Premiere worth an estimated $2 million.
The deal, believed to be hammered out by CC's Doc Wynter and Inner City's Charles Warfield, will eventually land Harvey in a number of major markets. He begins, as a matter of fact, on September 19 on WBLS-FM (107.5) in New York. Word is he will also air in Chicago on Crawford's urban AC WSRB-FM (Soul 106.3) and in Detroit on WMXD-FM (Mix 92.3) ... opposite Tom Joyner.
"It's not typical morning radio - I don't do shock radio," Harvey declared once the deal was announced on September 7.
His show is jointly owned by himself, CC and Inner City. Clear Channel-owned Premiere will handle syndication.
Two rumors to add to this: one is that he could end up in Atlanta. And the other is that Clear Channel really wanted this to happen as payback for Radio One "stealing" Joyner... Stay tuned!
