Can you believe at like 25 years old Marques Houston is a veteran? Once with young girls favorite Immature, this cat has reinvented himself as an actor and successful solo artist. November 14 marks the drop date of his new album, titled "Veteran." He's out there promoting it and came through the A-T-L to court retail, radio and press... we got the photos in Star Shots!

It's fourth quarter, folks, and that means the major labels are dropping new CDs like the Bush administration is dropping gas prices (it's election time, OK?). Listening parties, luncheons, etc. are happening so much, I hardly have had to buy groceries for weeks! (smile) So... this issue in Star Tracks, there are several reviews, including Ruben Studdard and red hot new chic Shareefa. Plus in November, there will be new releases from Marques Houston, Fantasia, etc. Radio is being swamped with new singles, so... why are play lists so short? Hmmmm. Lord knows record sales are at a 10-year low... somebody needs to come out with a killer CD soon!
