Stone Hits Live:
The Very Best of Angie Stone
J Records
Hot off the presses... Stone Hits Live: The Very Best of Angie Stone on J Records. The 15-track set includes a bonus track,
"Brotha Part II," featuring Alicia Keys and Eve. Gotta give Stone credit - she is making her way in a music world
that glorifies young girls with model figures and minimal talent. Along with her hits, the CD includes three fresh tracks,
including "I Wasn't Kidding," which is being worked as a single now. Other cuts on the CD include "Wish I Didn't
Miss You," "Stay For Awhile" with Anthony Hamilton and "More Than A Woman" with Joe, in addition
to hits "U Haul" and the original version of "Brotha."
Al Green's Greatest Hits has just been re-issued by EMI. What makes it new is the addition of a bonus DVD that includes footage
on "Let's Stay Together," "You Ought To Be With Me," "Love And happiness." "Simply Beautiful,"
"Rainin' In My Heart" and "I Can't Stop." Other tracks on the CD include "Tired of Being Alone,"
"I'm Still In Love With You," "Sha La La" and more.

Ola Onabule
In Emergency Brake Silence
Rugged Ram Recordings
What a fresh voice to the scene! Well, he's fresh to me. From the opening notes from this incredibly soulful singer, elements
of Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke and James Ingram shine through. Yea, he has an old school feel, but the sh-t is so good, if you
love music, you can't help but love this cat. He's apparently been a staple in England for some time. Onabule was hand picked
by soccer star David Beckman to sing at his wedding to Posh Spice (of the Spice Girls). He has also sang background for Simply
Red, K.D. Lang and George Michael and opened for Al Jarreau, Gladys Knight and more. Back to the music... it's pure soul,
something that's been missing from the so-called urban music scene for years and years and years. The tracks are soaked with
his silky smooth soul saturated vocals. "Heart Of Lead" has an Isleys feel on the instrumental side, while he sings
about a lover that just doesn't get it. It's a ballad but he doesn't whine. Another favorite is "Soul Town," which
showcases the influences of early Motown. One more notable track - "Alive Tonight." It's just a nice midtempo, beautifully
put together. This CD is not for those who simply want to bounce to a beat - it's for serious music connoisseurs who will
appreciate true artistry. For more info or to cop your own copy of this superb set, got to www.olamusic.com.

Jazz lovers are talking about "The Best of George Benson Live," a 10-track set on GRP/Verve. The cuts go back
as early as 1976 with the Bobby Womack-written "Breezin'" and 1981 with Benson's R&B hit, "Turn Your Love
Around." These are not just old hits - they are live adaptations with new twists and the energetic vibe of performing
before a live audience. The set also includes live versions of the classic "This Masquerade," "Give Me The
Night" and the classic, classic, classic Benson version of "On Broadway."
